How It Works Inside a Vehicle

Liquid sprays only clean where you point them. Activated ClO2 operates as a true gas, expanding uniformly across every single cubic inch of a sealed vehicle interior.

As the vapor moves, it penetrates deep into the porous materials that trap odors most—including headliners, deep carpet fibers, seat cushioning, and rear parcel shelves. Crucially, when pulled through the car's HVAC system, the gas travels deep inside the damp evaporator core and ductwork to destroy the underlying musty colonies that standard detailing can't reach. It leaves zero oily film or chalky residue behind—just completely clean, neutral air.

Application Instructions

⚠️ SAFETY FIRST: Chlorine Dioxide gas is a highly potent oxidizer. Treatments must be executed strictly inside completely unoccupied, sealed vehicles. No people, no pets.

1. Clear the Space: Remove all trash, debris, and the source of the odor from the vehicle. Note: Ensure all carpets and fabrics are completely dry before beginning; damp fabrics run a risk of discoloration.

2. Setup: Place your aerator system machine (or a stable, deep plastic container) on a flat, central surface inside the vehicle, such as the center console or floorboard.

3. Activate: Drop one 20g Elimin8 tablet into the container and add the specified amount of water (minimum 100mL) to trigger the chemical reaction.

4. Lock Down: Immediately exit the vehicle, shut all doors, and make sure all windows are completely rolled up. Let the cabin bake for 4 to 6 hours. For severe or long-standing odors, an overnight treatment (up to 24 hours) yields the most thorough results.

5. Vent Cycle: Toward the end of the treatment, safely open the driver door (without breathing in the air), start the car, and run the Air Conditioning/Fan on High and Recirculate for 15–20 minutes. This pulls the remaining gas completely through the vents and ductwork.

6. Air Out: Shut off the engine, crack all doors and windows wide open, and let the vehicle vent out completely for at least 45 to 60 minutes before anyone hops back inside.
